Before you c-bet, answer three questions:
- If I'm called, which turns do I keep betting?
- How big are my turn and river bets?
- What's my river plan if they call the turn too?

If you want the stacks in by the river, work backward from it.
When you have a big hand for value (or a draw you'll barrel), plan the sizing so three bets get it all in by the river — this is geometric sizing: roughly even bets each street that grow the pot smoothly.
