1. Act in turn. Wait until action reaches you. Premature folds or declarations give information to other players. 2. Keep live hands private. Do not announce folded cards, advise a player or discuss a hand while action remains. 3. State actions clearly. Say “raise to 50” before moving chips when that is your intent. Avoid string bets; a silent oversized chip facing a bet can be ruled a call. 4. Show a winner promptly. Do not deliberately delay an obvious winning call or reveal to make another player think they won. Taking time for a genuinely uncertain decision is fine. 5. Treat people respectfully.
