Inside the full lesson

Solver bluffs 33% on this river. The pool bluffs 12%. Whose number do you defend against?

In the full lesson, you work through this scenario with interactive examples.

GTO is the floor — the strategy that can't be exploited. But you're not playing solvers; you're playing a population whose aggregate strategy diverges from solver in measurable, predictable ways. The skill is knowing WHEN the deviation is real (and how far to push it) without losing the GTO baseline you fall back on against unknowns.

What you’ll learn

  • The 4 universal population leaks
  • How to size an exploit without over-fitting
  • When to revert to GTO

The 4 universal population leaks

Referenced activities and other examples are available in the full lesson after sign-in.

Across micro-to-mid stakes online + most live games, four leaks appear in aggregate stats.

  1. Underbluffing rivers. Solver target ~30%, pool ~10-15%. Defend below MDF.
  2. Overcalling small c-bets. Pool fold-to-c-bet ~35-40%, solver target ~50-60%. C-bet smaller, more often — then leverage leak #4 by barreling turns.
  3. Underdefending vs. 3-bets from the blinds. Pool fold-to-3-bet ~65-72%, solver target ~50-55%. 3-bet wider from blinds.
  4. Overfolding turn after flop call. Pool fold-to-2nd-barrel ~55%, solver target ~40%. Double-barrel more.

Sizing the exploit — halfway, not flipped

Referenced activities and other examples are available in the full lesson after sign-in.

Move HALFWAY between solver and pool. Two failure modes:

  1. Under-shifting: "I'll still call MDF to be safe." You've recognized the leak and refused to monetize it.
  2. Over-shifting: "Always fold to river bets." Now you're exploitable in the opposite direction.
